I'm very happy for this blog. I hope we'll have interesting conversations about history and, of course, books.
I am really excited about this blog, as well!
I am interested in this blog as well. I love English history AND books, particularly murder mysteries so Paul Doherty's books satisfy both passions!
My particular favourite series is the Brother Athelstan one.
I agree with Sophia, my main love is medievel mystery...or any historical murder mystery whether fact or fiction.
It will be interesting to listen to other peoples opinions.
It prefer Hugh Corbett and Sir Roger Shallot, the later is such a feisty old sod!
Great idea! I'm in awe of how different and detailed are all your characters... you even manage the first person narration as a female! Add to it the rich historical tapestry, a great mystery, and no wonder that you have such a following! I'd be very interested in reading your thoughts on writing, etc.
Grew up in Essex close to Epping Forest so place names are known, especially in Hugh Corbett stories which are my favourite. Always buy your books as soon as they are available regardless of title/story etc. Just know I'll get a great read! More please.
